Välbyggda Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10 marknadsförs som multimedia-surfplatta och det är också exakt vad den är bra på. 10-tummaren kan ställas flexibelt tack vare sitt praktiska ställ, vilket gör det enkelt att till exempel titta på film på plattan. Det stora 10200 mAh-batteriet räcker länge och IPS-panelen håller hög kvalitet. Detsamma gäller ljudet, med den egenutvecklade Dolby Atmos-surroundtekniken.
Systemkretsen Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 erbjuder tillräcklig prestanda för film och musik, surf och appar. Grafiskt krävande spel är däremot inte surfplattans starka sida, eftersom den integrerade Adreno 304-kretsen helt enkelt är för klen.
Även om Lenovo har designat Yoga Tab 3 10 för mediauppspelning har de inte varit helt konsekventa. Den har bara HD-upplösning på 1280x800 pixlar och den billigaste konfigurationen har bara 16 GB lagringsutrymme.
Medan 1 GB RAM fortfarande kan godtas är 16 GB inte direkt lämpligt för lagring av t.ex. video. Dessutom kan lagringskapaciteten bara utökas med max 32 GB eftersom Lenovos surfplatta inte har stöd för micro-SDXC-kort.
