In review: Dell Inspiron 17-5758. Test model provided by Dell Germany.

Föregångaren var bra och Dell Inspiron 17-5758 är bara en liten uppdatering. En stor del av vår tidigare kritik kvarstår: Det finns fortfarande för få portar, som är ogynnsamt placerade men åtminstone inte för nära varandra längre. Gigabit-LAN saknas och garantin upphör efter 12 månader. Vi saknar föregångarens lock i metall, eftersom det var elegant och säkerställde lite bättre vridstyvhet.

Enheten är alltför högljudd under belastning och det dedikerade grafikkortet är knappast tillräckligt för nyare spel. Under maxbelastning blir enheten för varm på ovansidan. Därför stryps processorn under full belastning.

Men vi gillade den matta IPS-skärmen, som visserligen borde vara mer ljusstark och ha mer naturtrogna färger. Pekplattan imponerar med sin höga precision och strömförbrukningen är behagligt låg.
