Stor arbetsyta. Schenker Work 17 har gott om utrymme för arbete. Dessutom har den en kraftfull Intel Core i7, en del uppgraderingsalternativ och möjlighet till personliga konfigurationer. Datorn erbjuder också ett RGB-tangentbord, vilket gör att man också kan arbeta på natten utan att bli bländad. Uppdatering: En ny BIOS-version har testats.

Kraftfull hårdvara med många anpassningsbara funktioner är förmodligen kärnan i konceptet bakom Schenkers bärbara datorer. Den tyska tillverkaren erbjuder bärbara datorer som uppfyller alla krav. Work 17 är en bärbar dator för kontoret som har många alternativ för minne och lagring. Det finns också olika tangentbordslayouter tillgängliga, och garantiperioden kan ställas in på två eller tre år.

Vårt recensionsexemplar är utrustat med 32 GB RAM, Intel Core i7-11370H och 1 TB NVMe SSD. Utan Windows-licens kostar den här konfigurationen cirka 1 470 euro. Den mest prisvärda konfigurationen som för närvarande finns tillgänglig är cirka 1 180 euro (~1 273 dollar)

Bärbara kontorsdatorer i stort format är sällsynta nuförtiden, såLG Gram 17och Acer Aspire 5 är bland konkurrenterna. Om du föredrar något mindre kan du väljaSchenker Work 15 kan vara ett alternativ.

Hölje och anslutningsmöjligheter - Robust aluminium och många portar

Schenker Work 17 är visuellt ganska diskret med svart aluminium för displaylocket och bottenskyddet samt svart plast för basenhetens ovansida, inklusive tangentbordet och pekplattan. En blick på skärmen avslöjar dock den extremt smala bildskärmsramen. Den är bara 6 mm bred.

Bortsett från det något blygsamma utseendet har den bärbara datorn en högkvalitativ konstruktion och den är mycket robust på alla områden. Trots sin storlek kan skärmen knappast vridas, och detsamma gäller desto mer för basenheten.

Tack vare Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, LAN och en microSD-kortläsare är Schenker Work 17 nästan helt utrustad när det gäller anslutningsmöjligheter. Både Intel Wi-Fi AX 201 och microSD-kortläsaren fungerar med hög hastighet här.

Webbkameran är av den typiska låga kvalitet som man finner i webbkameror för bärbara datorer. Förutom Kensington-låsfacket finns även säkerhetsfunktionerna i Intel Core i7-11370H.

Inmatningsenheter - RBG-tangentbord möter enorm ClickPad

Schenker Work 17:s tangentbord ger en stark haptisk återkoppling. Dessutom ser tangenternas rörlighet på nästan 2 mm till att tangentbordet är behagligt. Pekplattan är stor med sina 15 cm x 9 cm och dess yta är jämn och slät.

Tangentbordets RGB-belysning kan verka lite ovanlig till en början. Men det visar sig att färgvalet möjliggör en bekväm och bländfri användning som saknar blått ljus, vilket är särskilt användbart på natten.

Skärm - Fungerar också bra utomhus

Den ljusa IPS-displayen på Schenker Work 17 är inte perfekt när det gäller färgomfång och kontrastförhållande, men den är bra. En 93,9 % RGB-färgområdestäckning är mer än tillräckligt för en bärbar dator för kontoret. Skärmens ljusstyrka på 390,3 cd/m² i genomsnitt är också ganska hög, vilket gör att läsbarheten är god för det mesta, trots att ljusfördelningen inte är särskilt jämn här. Ibland kan ljusa fläckar i alla fyra hörnen ses med blotta ögat, trots det goda kontrastförhållandet på 1 029:1

Enligt CalMan ColorChecker har Schenker Work 17 en relativt korrekt färgåtergivning direkt från lådan, inklusive ett lågt genomsnittligt ΔΕ på endast 2,5. Med hjälp av den ICC-profil som vi skapade (ladda ner i infoboxen) sjunker både de absoluta och genomsnittliga färgavvikelserna till en nivå som knappt är märkbar. Det finns inga märkbart avvikande färger här. Det är trots allt bara små förskjutningar i värdena för RGB-färgerna i fasta färger som gör att sRGB-färgrymden inte täcks till 100 %

Display response times show how fast the screen is able to change from one color to the next. Slow response times can lead to afterimages and can cause moving objects to appear blurry (ghosting). Gamers of fast-paced 3D titles should pay special attention to fast response times.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

In comparison: 52 % of all tested devices do not use PWM to dim the display. If PWM was detected, an average of 21941 (minimum: 5 - maximum: 3846000) Hz was measured.

Den matta skärmen visar en annan styrka även vid utomhusbruk. Så länge solen inte reflekteras direkt på panelen kan den ljusa skärmen alltid läsas väl. Det finns knappt några skillnader förutom i ljusstyrkan när man tittar från alla möjliga vinklar.

Provningsvillkor

Schenkers kontrollcenter erbjuder många inställningar för att justera prestandan. Benchmarks kördes i underhållningsläget, som erbjuder en bra balans mellan fläktvolym, energieffektivitet och prestanda. Som ett resultat av detta finns en PL2 på 42 watt och en PL1 på cirka 22 watt för Intel Core i7. Beroende på tillämpning och plats justeras PL1-värdena i underhållningsläget ibland betydligt uppåt eller nedåt. I stresstestet observerades till och med värden på endast 16 watt.

I Performance-läget ökas PL1 till upp till 35 watt, men det ökar också kärnans temperaturer drastiskt. I de flesta benchmarks där processorn inte utsätts för långvarig belastning är det knappt någon skillnad mellan Performance Mode och Entertainment Mode. Processor

Med en hög boostprestanda och god temperatureffektivitet är denIntel Core i7-11370H med sina fyra kärnor är särskilt lämplig för smala bärbara datorer med höga prestandakrav. Beroende på prestandaläget visar processorn ibland en beräkningsprestanda under genomsnittet i längre tester, men den kan plocka poäng under framför allt korta belastningstoppar och vid enkärnig drift. I prestandaläget ligger PL1 på konstant 35 watt, medan den fluktuerar mellan 22 watt och 16 watt i underhållningsläget.

På batteridrift begränsas processorns prestanda i viss mån. Återigen har den bärbara datorns prestandakontroll olika värden beroende på energisparplan. I prestandaläget visar logganalysen att PL1 är justerad till 35 watt, medan processorn i verkligheten bara får 25 watt.
