Its battery life may not be the main draw of this laptop, but this shortcoming is overcome by the fast performance produced by the Intel Core i7 and makes it on par with desktop laptops even with its slim design. If you still want to prioritize battery life, maybe you can take a look at the MacBook Air M1 or HP EliteBook 840 G8. If you are interested in premium design and want to find a solid replacement for a desktop, the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is a very suitable laptop. At the time of writing, Microsoft Windows had already informed me that this laptop could now be updated to the Windows 11 operating system.

Overall, we love the MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo, even if it’s expensive. It’s good at what it’s supposed to do: record touch inputs and satisfactorily run demanding productivity software like Photoshop, Blender, and Premiere without gurgling under the weight. It also looks stylish while doing so. It’s more expensive than most other 2-in-1 laptops with its specs, but its stylus implementation makes it a worthwhile companion for illustrators and researchers who will be doodling and writing 24/7.

MSI is mostly known for gaming PCs stateside, but the Taiwanese firm occasionally markets ultraportable laptops for business use. One of the latest is the Summit E13 Flip Evo (starts at $1,599; $1,899 as tested), a stylish, compact 2-in-1 convertible that has its sights set on the class-leading Dell XPS 13 2-in-1. The E13 looks gorgeous in the white color scheme of our review unit (it's also available in black), which is a little expensive but very well equipped with a speedy Intel Core i7 processor, 32GB of memory, and a 1TB solid-state drive. A few quirks keep it from excellence (or from stealing the Dell's Editors' Choice award), but it's otherwise a compelling alternative.

The MSI has impressive CPU performance and a high-quality screen inside a luxurious chassis. Combine this with the snappy keyboard, big trackpad, and good connectivity, and you've got an effective and good-looking hybrid for everyday workloads. Bear in mind, though, that the Summit is a little thicker and heavier than its rivals,and its battery life could be better. The MSI isn't perfect, but it's a capable hybrid that delivers a quality experience in key departments - and its price is tempting, too.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
