At first glance, the Asus VivoBook S510 seems like a clear winner, thanks to its premium design, lightness of weight and sharp, colorful display. Unfortunately, this attractive laptop has several annoying problems that compromise the user experience, including short battery life, a laggy touchpad and one of the worst webcams we've ever tested.

Asus' new VivoBook S is a solid MacBook-alike for just $500

It will go on sale with a $499 starting price (roughly £390 or AU$670), though no word yet on when it will be available. And as my colleague Luke Lancaster points out, if Asus can make something that's pretty close to the MacBook for such a low price, it's probably a good deal.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
