To catch you up if you’re not a fan of back reading, the ASUS ROG Strix GL704GV SCAR II is a refreshed version of the same notebook released by ASUS last year, sporting NVIDIA’s new Turing-equipped RTX 2060 GPU. While only the GPU was changed from last year’s model, the ASUS ROG Strix GL704GV SCAR II feels like a different beast performance-wise, easily beating Max-Q equipped GTX 1070 notebooks in the same class.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile:
Bärbart grafikkort från mittenskiktet/toppskiktet baserat på Turing-arkitekturen med raytracing-funktioner och 1920 shaders. Jämfört med desktop-kortet med samma namn har det lägre klockfrekvenser.
De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.
