The Acer Iconia Tab A700 is an appropriate upgrade to Acer's earlier efforts, but it doesn't really go far enough to make it a viable choice for new tablet buyers. Its sluggish performance and cheap feel make it hard to recommend against the Asus Transformer Pad Infinity or the Apple iPad.

It’s a little behind its rivals when it comes to performance and battery life, but the Iconia Tab A700 is a cracking all-round package. The display is gorgeous, there's enough power for games and apps, and it’s vastly cheaper than the only other Full HD tablet on the market, Asus’ Transformer Pad Infinity 700. For those after a premium experience without spending a fortune, the Acer Iconia Tab A700 is an affordable taste of Android tablet luxury.

Blips aside, you'll have no problem using the A700 for movies, working or browsing and it's well served with ports with microSD, microUSB and microHDMI. So if a good screen is your priority and your budget won't stretch to the Infinity it's your best option.

NVIDIA GeForce ULP (Tegra 3): Den integrerade grafikkretsen i Nvidias Tegra 3 SoC för surplattor och smartphones. 

De här grafikkorten är inte lämpliga för spel. Om spelet fungerar alls är det ofta med mycket låg bildfrekvens och andra problem med renderingen. Vanligt kontorsbruk och surfande bör däremot fungera bra.
