Don’t underestimate the Acer Chromebook Spin 311. Despite being released in 2020, it’s one of the best Chromebooks 2021 has to offer. That’s all thanks to its easy usability thanks to that fantastic touch screen, great design, and stellar flexibility – not to mention, its upgraded specs for 2021. Aesthetically, the Chromebook Spin 311 is fairly understated, covered in a matte black that’s only interrupted by a diamond-shaped pattern that adorns the notebook’s lid. Because of its restrained look, it would fit in perfectly whether you’re taking notes in class or using it in a business meeting. It’s also perfect for working on because the touchpad and keyboard are such a pleasure to use. With that said, the keyboard feels a bit cramped, probably because it’s the same size as the ones on other Acer offerings but in a smaller chassis. It took some time to adjust to it but its satisfying clicks and actuation won us over in the end.

It's in this budget price bracket that Chrome OS's particular appeals shine through. Sure, the Spin 311 isn't incredibly slim and can't run proper Windows apps, but it's got a great keyboard, lasts for ample time, and delivers enough across the board for its asking price.

If you want something with a bigger tank, the larger Acer Chromebook 314 might be a better choice. However, the compact nature of the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 makes it an ideal smaller device for those who are looking for something that you can basically use one-handed.

Just using the Acer Chromebook Spin 311 is a joy, and the design and build quality of this device are also immediately apparent as soon as you take it out of the box.

Chromebooks have been a Windows alternative for a while and dependant on the tasks you want to carry out can be all you need. Certainly you would not get a Windows touch panel unit for anywhere near the price of this Chromebook offering.

AMD Radeon R4 (Stoney Ridge):

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
