The Acer Aspire Switch 10 is the latest hybrid device to successfully blur the line between laptops and tablets. For $429, you get a device that can switch from laptop to tablet to presentation device with a flip of the display. Overall, we prefer the $399 ASUS Transformer Book T100, which offers longer battery life, and the $499 Dell Venue 11 Pro, which has a larger, 1080p screen.

It's a very close run thing, though, and if you're in the market for an adaptable netbook/tablet hybrid, the Switch 10 will serve you well.

Acer’s Aspire Switch 10 does not address any of these problems and, as a result, it’s a bit flawed from the start. Yet, Acer has done whatever possible to make the best of the situation, and the result is a surprisingly likeable product.

The entire device is a touch bloated (even around the screen, where there is just too much wasted space), but for $350, you get quite a bit. As a tablet, it’s an adequate performer. As a computer, it’s a more netbook than anything else. We like it for those on a budget, and on the go.

The Acer Aspire Switch 10 is a solid Windows 8.1 hybrid consisting of a decent tablet and solid keyboard dock. The current generation Atom processor is a good performer and runs Windows well. The Switch 10 is a highly portable laptop that takes advantage of Windows 8.1. Both trackpad and touch screen operation work as expected in Windows.

Because this device ticks enough boxes to see all out war between itself and the Asus T100. If you're after Windows 8.1 on a budget then the Switch 10 is one of the few viable options in our view.

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail):

Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.
