Aside the great design and premium feel, the Aspire S7 is priced just right. You can even see that this machine outperforms most of its competitors and accommodates Intel Core i7-5500U CPU that’s capable of handling some more demanding applications. This, however, comes at a price – you can see on the heat map that the temperatures on the surface are a bit high, but still far away from the user’s hands so it will not interfere with your work. It’s not only designed to look good, but it’s also functional and smartly built with some extra features to make up for a flawless user experience.

No major changes have been made to the 2015 version of the Acer Aspire S7. Its chassis is identical to that of last year's model, with the same pros and cons. Nevertheless, this new configuration demonstrated minor improvements in performance, also minimising heat and noise. It's a solid ultrabook for anyone willing to part with a grand.

The Acer Aspire S7-393 is an iteration of the "if it's not broke, don't fix it" policy and that's because it is identical to the S7-392, with two exceptions: the hardware platform and the Wireless module. And since the S7-392 was one of the best premium 13 inchers in its days, the S7-393 remains one as well today, with its sleek aluminum and glass made body, its excellent display and fast performance, corroborated with a fair price. But it's starting to show its age here and there, when compared to its more recently designed rivals.

Intel HD Graphics 5500: En integrerad grafikkrets (GT2) i Intels lågspänningsprocessorer Broadwell ULV (15 watt)

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
