Even considering all the shortcomings of the latter devices, the price is just fine. As for the V40 Design, most competitors in the same price category offer a much worse screen, the same cameras and similar processors. However, the V40S has some interesting competition. For example, the Redmi 12 offers a better chip in the form of MediaTek Helio G88, but 2GB less RAM. But at the end of the day, it’s about the key features the phones offer. And the V40 Design/V40S predominantly wins with its style and price. That’s not a bad thing, as an extension of the existing line-up. And creating a brand identity is also a good decision.

It would be the Vivo Y73t for better specs with 5G experience.

The device runs on the latest Android 12 OS supported by MyOS 12 interface customization. The ZTE Blade V40s is powered by a 12nm – Unisoc T618 chipset and Mali G52 MP2 GPU. Apart from this, the phone weighs 184 grams. As for the camera section, you will attain a triple-camera setup that includes a 50MP main, 5MP macro, and a 2MP depth lens. Apart from this, you will also receive an 8MP selfie camera lens at the front. You will be able to record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second from both side cameras. For security, the V40s Blade smartphone offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The battery section brings a Li-Po 4500 mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support. Besides this, you can pick the phone in Blue and Black color options.

Integrerat grafikkort i mellanklass med 2 kluster. ARM hävdar att G52-serien är 30 % snabbare och 15 % effektivare än G51-serien på samma processnod.
En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
