Looking back over this review, we do seem to have used the word ‘adequate' rather a lot. That pretty much sums up the L50T-A-130, as it's adequate in most respects but – apart from the beefy speakers – really doesn't stand out in any particular way. Cut the price by £100 and it'd be a good budget offering, but at £649.00 it may struggle to compete with its many mid-range rivals.

Let’s talk more about the hardware, though. The Core i7-5500U CPU paired with GeForce 930M are a great combination for everyday usage, multimedia experience and light gaming. Basically, as we said earlier, it’s a well-balanced mid-ranger. Nevertheless, we would like to address our concerns about the heat management as the CPU reached dangerously high temperatures, but we like to believe that this occurred due to the use of an engineering sample for the writing of this review. And last, but not least, the battery life. It could have been improved if the battery capacity was bigger because the hardware inside isn’t so demanding.

The Satellite L50D-C-13G is very much a budget laptop, where you largely get what you pay for. Even at this price the display was surprisingly bad, however. Performance wasn't much better, making it a difficult to recommend. Ideally, if you can afford to stretch to a higher budget you're much better off with the Acer Aspire V3-574G.

If you're just browsing or writing, the performance will be good enough for you, but the small keys, poor battery life, washed-out screen and boatload of bloatware are more than enough reasons to look elsewhere.

Toshiba:
En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
Intel HD Graphics 4000: Den integrerade grafikkretsen i Intels Ivy Bridge-processorer. Prestandan varierar mellan olika processormodeller (ex. ULV eller fyrkärniga).
AMD Radeon HD 8400:
AMD Radeon HD 8510G: En grafikkrets som är integrerad i AMD:s Richland-processorer (A8-serien) utan eget grafikminne.
Intel HD Graphics 4400: Intel HD Graphics 4400 (GT2) är en integrerad grafikkrets i Intels Haswell-generation (4:e generationen Core-processorer).
AMD Radeon R5 M230:
Intel HD Graphics 5500: En integrerad grafikkrets (GT2) i Intels lågspänningsprocessorer Broadwell ULV (15 watt)
Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M: Ett grafikkort från GT 700M-serien från 2013 med 384 grafikkärnor med varierande prestanda beroende på modell.
AMD Radeon R7 M260:

Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.
