Ingenting gör oss egentligen besvikna med Samsung Galaxy TabPro S – man har gjort ett bra jobb med att skapa ett väl sammansatt 2-i-1-paket. Jämfört med bärbara datorer som kostar lika mycket får du lägre prestanda men mer mobilitet. AMOLED-skärmen är höjdpunkten i Galaxy TabPro S. Den är ljusstark, skarp och kan vara riktigt effektiv.

Tangentbordet är inte bäst i klassen och det krävs bakgrundsbelysning för att kunna konkurrera med t.ex. Surface Pro 4 och Type Cover-tangentbordet, men det är inte dåligt. Tangentbordsfodralet/stativet har för- och nackdelar. Du skyddar plattan under transport och får ett grundläggande stativ, men det är inte lika flexibelt som motsvarigheterna till Miix 700, Surface Pro 4 eller Spectre X2.

Tyvärr kunde vi inte testa Samsungs Bluetooth C-Pen-stylus eftersom den inte är tillgänglig än. Den kan vara en avgörande faktor för vissa användare.

Det går inte att bortse från det faktum att det finns bara en enda port för laddning/data på surfplattan. Du måste budgetera för adaptrar, vilket kan bli dyrt om du vill ha en portabel dockningslösning med videoutgång och laddning.

Om du funderat på en Surface 3 med 4GB RAM och 128 GB SSD kan den här, mer kapabla plattan vara ett bättre alternativ. Detsamma gäller de som överväger en Surface Pro 4 med Core m3, men behöver en stylus. TabPro S är också mer elegant än Lenovo Miix 700 men Miix slår Samsung vad gäller processorkraft och tangentbordskvalitet. Glöm heller inte HP Spectre X2 eller Toshiba Portégé Z20t-B-10C
