Lenovo ThinkPad L560 är en värdig efterträdare till ThinkPad L540. Genom att använda mer strömsnåla ULV-processorer har Lenovo gjort allt rätt med den här enheten. Den lägre strömförbrukningen avspeglas i batteritiden.

ThinkPad-modellernas underhållsmöjligheter och säkerhetsfunktioner har inte eftersatts. Anslutningsmöjligheterna går heller inte att anmärka på och de kan utökas ytterligare med en dockningsstation.

Bland de mindre bra egenskaperna ingår den relativt dåliga skärmen. Även om betraktningsvinklarna är bra är färgrymden desto sämre. Dessutom är skärmens ljusstyrka bara genomsnittlig och försvårar arbete i mycket ljusa miljöer.

En SSD skulle öka systemets prestanda väsentligt och tangentbordet saknar bakgrundsbelysning.

Kritiken till trots är Lenovo ThinkPad L560 en bra kontorsmaskin. Den effektiva Skylakeprocessorn är mer än tillräcklig för ändamålet. För de som inte klarar sig utan dockningsstation eller TrackPoint finns knappt några alternativ till ThinkPad-modellerna.
