AMD introducerade först Golden Rabbit Edition (eller Great Radeon Edition) GPU: er som Kina-exklusiva kort, med början med Navi 31 Radeon RX 7900 GRE i juli 2023.

Senare samma år introducerade AMD också den Navi 22-baserade RX 6750 GRE i 10 GB och 12 GB varianter.

Medan RX 6750 GRE inte officiellt lanserades globalt, lanserade AMD tog AMD rX 7900 GRE över hela världen till en MSRP på 549 USD.

Nu upprepar AMD historien med den nya Navi 48-baserade RX 9070 GRE. Kortet lanserades ursprungligen i Kina i maj 2025 men kommer nu att finnas tillgängligt globalt, med samma 549 $ MSRP som RX 9070.
