Generally, normal smartphone users want to take clear photos, have big internal storage, a long battery life, and a decent charging speed with no performance lag. A little bit of gaming would be the cherry on top. All of those things are possible with the Samsung Galaxy F16. But the company is just hyping this phone for online sales, especially for the exclusive Flipkart deals. Samsung rebranded this phone within just one month for the South Asian smartphone market. Typically, you don’t expect something so fast. However, you might have to compromise with the older generation OS, less performance, and average camera results. Despite this, the phone can’t be considered a complete powerhouse. If you want a more reliable phone, check the Nothing CMF Phone 1 instead.

The Samsung Galaxy F17 is a budget-friendly smartphone packed with modern features, launched in September 2025. It sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, 1080 × 2340 pixels resolution, and up to 1100 nits peak brightness for excellent outdoor visibility. Built with a glass front, plastic frame, and glass fiber back, it measures 164.4 × 77.9 × 7.5 mm and weighs 192 g, providing a slim yet sturdy feel in hand. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, and the phone carries an IP54 rating for resistance against dust and water splashes. Under the hood, the Galaxy F17 runs on Samsung’s efficient 5nm Exynos 1330 chipset with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G68 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 15 with One UI 7 and will receive up to six major Android upgrades, ensuring excellent long-term support.

Samsung:

Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.

ARM Mali-G57 MP2:

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.

Mediatek Dimensity 6000:

Dimensity 6300: Processorn har totalt åtta kärnor, som är uppdelade i två kluster. Den ena har två ARM Cortex-A76-prestandakärnor med upp till 2,4 GHz vardera, medan den andra har sex ARM Cortex-A55-energisparande kärnor med upp till 2,0 GHz vardera. LPDDR4x RAM med 2.133 MHz kan användas som RAM och UFS 2.2 stöds som internminne. Dimensity 6300 är mycket lik den gamla Dimensity 6080.

Samsung Exynos:

Exynos 1330: Mellanklass-SoC med sex ARM Cortex-A55 (max. 2 GHz) i effektivitetsklustret och två ARM Cortex-A78 (max. 2,4 GHz) i prestandaklustret. Det integrerade 5G-modemet stöder nedladdningshastigheter på upp till 2,55 Gbps.
