Motorola har själva varit drivande i den här utvecklingen då 5G spridits till allt fler telefoner och har idag såväl flaggskepp, mellanklass som den här, den billigaste i bolagets 5G-portfölj. Lika snabbt har dock inte utbyggnaden av de svenska 5G-näten gått. Jag har testat telefonen i det nu snabbaste av de svenska 5G-näten och kommit upp i som mest 1 Gbit/s. De hastigheterna kommer man dock bara upp i om man befinner sig i något av en handfull kvarter i centrala Stockholm och har Tele2:s obegränsade abonnemang där 5G ingår. På bolagets täckningskarta får jag zooma in flera gånger innan den lilla plutten med 5G-täckning ens blir synlig. Idag är det alltså svårt att verkligen dra nytta av 5G, men givetvis är stödet bra att ha om ett eller kanske snarare två år då utbyggnaden av näten hunnit längre.
