Honestly I do like the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion device. I feel that Motorola has done an exceptional job in reminding the edge screen devices over say Samsungs though I would like to see the edges be more utilised with potential features like an app draw or favourite apps you could load from the side. The cameras are amazing, the HelloUI is great and honestly there is a lot to like. It’s fair to say I feel this is more potentially a high end device on a mid range budget.However, the issues with some of the Moto AI functionality and connectivity issues with the lack of MIMO and DBS does sadly make this device a little bit harder to recommend especially if you need the ability to have both Wi-Fi and Hotspot functionalities on at the same time. The Motorola Edge 60 fusion is available through Motorola alongside retail partners below with special deals running till 11 June in either Slipstream, Amazonite and Zephyr colours for RRP $699.

Det betyder dock inte att Motorola undviker att spänna bågen på flera områden och telefonen når upp till väldigt många av de önskemål man kan ha på en telefon idag. Framförallt är den tunn och lätt med ett tydligt fokus på design. Samarbetet med färgexperterna Pantone gör att Motorolas telefoner sticker ut och har ett eget uttryck jämfört med många andra. Rent praktiskt när vi använder telefonen utmärker sig skärmen. Den är bra och ljusstark. Precis som namnet på telefonen antyder så har skärmen böjda kanter vilket gör att telefonen upplevs som extra tunn när du håller den i handen och rent visuellt kan det vara effektfullt. Det behöver dock inte praktiskt alltid vara bra eftersom reaktionerna på pekningar i kanten inte alltid är den bästa och färgåtergivningen kan också skifta.

It has a nice handy design, a good display, decent cameras, and satisfactory performance. And most of all you get a clean UI here where you don’t have to worry about bloatware or ads. It’s actually a really balanced phone and I have quite enjoyed using it during all this time. The Edge 60 Pro is a sleek all-rounder with a stunning display, strong battery life, clean software, and surprisingly capable cameras. Some polish is missing in the software and portrait shots, but for the price, it’s a solid pick.

Motorola’s mix of unique materials and curved-edge glass really help this phone stand out, and what’s underneath is pretty convincing too. There’s ample performance, the software is simple without being basic (with AI enhancements you might actually want to use) and it’s as weather-resistant as they come. It’s a shame to see some of last year’s specs dialled down, notably charging speeds and selfie camera autofocus, but nothing has dipped low enough that it loses ground to close rivals. In all other respects photography has stepped up from the previous generation, helping Moto close the gap to the current class leaders. Battery life is ultimately the Edge 60 Pro’s biggest draw. If you’re after a does-it-all device that can last entire weekends between refuels and won’t cost as much as a flagship, it absolutely deserves to be on your shortlist.

There has been a subtle shift towards devices designed specifically for note-taking, especially those with a built-in stylus. Such devices have existed in the past, too, but note-taking was often an afterthought. For me, though, I always get excited to try them out. Maybe it’s because, as a journalist, I have always carried a notepad and pen — so it’s hard to ignore a note-taking device when you are an assiduous note-taker, jotting things down for hours at a time. When Motorola recently launched the Edge 60 Stylus, it piqued my interest for two reasons: a) it’s a smartphone, and b) it’s surprisingly affordable. I honestly can’t remember the last time I used a phone with a stylus at this price point, as someone who has reviewed every type of note-taking device on the market, from smartphones and iPads to e-ink readers and digital notebooks over the years.

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.

ARM Mali-G615 MP2: Mellanklassgrafikchip för smartphones med 2 av 6 möjliga kärnor. Baserat på den fjärde generationen av Valhall-arkitekturen. Erbjuder skuggning med variabel hastighet.

Qualcomm Adreno 710:

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.

Dimensity 7300: Dimensity 7300 är en mellanklassprocessor med ett integrerat 5G-modem. CPU-delen integrerar fyra ARM Cortex-A78-kärnor med upp till 2,5 GHz och fyra Cortex-A55 power-kärnor med upp till 2 GHz. SoC:n är tillverkad med den moderna 4nm-processen.

Dimensity 8350: Processorn arbetar med totalt åtta kärnor, som är uppdelade i två kluster. Det första klustret innehåller en ARM Cortex-A715 power-kärna som arbetar i upp till 3,35 GHz.
