Overall, the ZBook Fury 15 G7 is a potent machine built for the people who know what to do with its hardware. When engineers need to employ specalized software packages like Autodesk's AutoCAD or run simulations in ANSYS Fluent for mission-critical tasks, having certified drivers is important. The ZBook Fury has a great mix of performance, portability, and the software support required for these tasks. Anybody in a corporate IT department that wants to source a true mobile workstation for their engineers and designers should put HP's ZBook Fury 15 G7 on their short list.

The HP ZBook Ultra G1a is a pretty serious machine. It's got conservative stylings with an aluminum enclosure, company logo, and not an LED to be found. But serious also means a factory-calibrated OLED display for creative pros, sixteen CPU cores for those who need lots of performance, and gobs of memory. Serious even extends to the integrated GPU which boasts excellent performance that's on par with a lot of discrete solutions paired with "serious" professional drivers rather than the gaming-focused variety. Unfortunately, the seriousness of the machine also results in a couple of shortcomings. First of all, the Wolf Security Suite did have a performance impact so we tested with it disabled.

90% The HP ZBook Ultra outperforms the MacBook Pro in key areas, but it comes at a price

If you’re OS agnostic like I tend to be, you want a portable, powerful, efficient workstation to meet your day-to-day requirements and make sure you don’t miss a beat when working or creating in your off time. The HP ZBook Ultra 14 G1a comes very close to eclipsing my MacBook Pro in terms of portability and beats the base MacBook Pro's CPU power, but it comes at the cost of battery life and a higher price. The base configuration of the ZBook Ultra costs $2,599, which is a bit steep for the average consumer. And it doesn’t get the full leverage of the Ryzen AI Max Pro chipset’s unified memory. If you need the ultimate combination of affordability, power, and battery life, the MacBook Pro 14 (M4, 2024) is still the way to go, especially if you don’t need to run Windows to access all of your applications.

HP:

De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.

AMD Strix Halo/Point (Zen 5/5c, Ryzen AI 300):

Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 395: En superkraftig processor i Strix Halo-familjen som debuterade i januari 2025. Ryzen AI Max+ PRO APU levereras med 16 Zen 5 CPU-kärnor, 40 CU RDNA 3+ Radeon 8060S grafikkort och 50 TOPS XDNA 2 neuralmotor. Andra viktiga funktioner inkluderar AMD Secure Processor (en ARM-co-processor i paketet) och AMD-Vi. Det finns fortfarande inget PCIe 5-stöd här.

Intel Arrow Lake:

Ultra 7 265H: High-end mobilprocessor baserad på Arrow Lake-arkitekturen med 16 kärnor fördelade på 3 kluster. De snabba 6 P-kärnorna klockar upp till 5,3 GHz. Det finns också 8 mindre E-kärnor med upp till 4,5 GHz och 2 små lågeffektkärnor (samma arkitektur) med upp till 2,5 GHz.
