EN→SVSo where does the HP OmniPad 12 stand? The device takes a slightly different approach compared to other Android tablets. And this approach works despite having a few quirks. If you are someone who is looking for a device for work or college, the OmniPad 12 could be your pick instead of opting for a traditional laptop.

EN→SVA tablet of this size won’t primarily serve heavy gamers. Instead, it replaces the need for a dedicated laptop for college students who need to take notes and stream content. It also suits parents who will appreciate the clean, familiar Android OS and sheer ease of use.

EN→SVThe HP OmniPad 12 feels like a decent first step into the tablet market for a company best known for its laptops. Its large and bright display, bundled keyboard and dependable battery life make it a capable productivity companion, particularly for users who want something more portable than a conventional laptop. At Rs 48,999, the HP OmniPad 12 does not feel like an easy recommendation for everyone.

EN→SVPriced starting at Rs 48,999 in India, the HP OmniPad 12 is a budget-friendly tablet when taking into account the increasing hardware prices. The variant we got (priced at Rs 54,999) serves as a complete package, making genuine sense for a specific type of professional, someone who travels frequently and wants to avoid lugging around a full laptop.

EN→SVThe HP OmniPad 12 is a difficult device to categorise because its hardware is better suited to some workloads than others. As a tablet, it gets several important things right. The 12-inch display is sharp and responsive, the speakers are loud enough for entertainment, the design is solid and the battery can comfortably last through a workday. The bundled keyboard also makes it much more useful for writing and browsing than a standard tablet.

EN→SVRetailing in India at Rs. 48,999, the HP OmniPad 12 is, in no sense, an affordable tablet. However, when you look at the package as a whole, it could make sense for select professionals who travel a lot but don't want the hassle of carrying a laptop everywhere. However, it might not be the most ideal replacement for their existing laptop, especially because of its weak chipset and a few quirks.
