The EliteBook 745 G5 is a fairly mixed bag. On one hand, we like its overall looks, feature set, relatively light body and powerful hardware combination that’ll make short work of most office-related tasks.

The HP EliteBook 745 G5 is sleek and elegant. However, it has a couple of unsatisfying aspects to it. I don’t think I’d trade in a short battery life span in favor of a light body, premium-looking design, and excellent audio output. They pointing stick in between the keyboard is a downer as well, but it’s not much of a significant issue, unlike the battery life.

The HP EliteBook 745 G5 has some impressive features, including a solid build and a good array of ports. The keyboard is comfortable to use, although the cut-out for the pointing stick is oversized and makes typing with the G, H and B keys awkward. Unfortunately the screen is a big let-down, lacking in both brightness and in colour vibrancy. Also, based on my real-world testing, the battery is unlikely to support a full day's work.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
