Den nyligen lanserade GMK NucBox K13 är känd för att vara extremt lätt samtidigt som den erbjuder respektabel prestanda med Core Ultra 7 256V processor. Jämfört med andra datorer med exakt samma CPU verkar GMK dock prestera något snabbare än förväntat när det gäller rå multi-thread-prestanda på bekostnad av något långsammare integrerad grafikprestanda.

Prestandadiagrammen nedan jämför NucBox K13 med sex andra datorer i vår databas med samma Core Ultra 7 256V-processor. GMK-systemet vinner de flesta CPU-tunga uppgifter med bara några få procentenheter i genomsnitt, vilket tyder på att Turbo Boost-hållbarheten är bättre än genomsnittet. På den mest extrema nivån är Dell 14 Plus kan köra upp till 20 procent långsammare än vår GMK efter att ha tagit hänsyn till den kraftigare strypningen på Dell-maskinen.

På den andra sidan av myntet underpresterar NucBox K13 när det gäller integrerad grafikprestanda. I det här scenariot visar 3DMark-benchmarks att minidatorn är upp till 25 procent långsammare än den genomsnittliga datorn med samma Arc 140V GPU. Även om NucBox K13 fortfarande är anständig för casual-spel, kanske den inte är det bästa valet för att köra moderna 3D-titlar lokalt.

Att ställa in minidatorn i balanserat läge istället för prestandaläge via BIOS kan minska bristerna ovan eftersom prestandaläget ibland reserverar högre effektgränser för CPU-kärnorna på bekostnad av en lägre effektgräns för iGPU.
