Not every new feature will please and attract all existing XPS 13 fans or potential new customers. My own reaction to the biometric functions proves that, and I expect graphic artists and similarly-inclined users will be more likely to appreciate the value of Dell’s Active Stylus Pen than others.

In the end, Dell was able to port all the cool features about the good old XPS 13 with fewer trade-offs than we expected. The build quality is superb – it feels tight, light, thin and premium. The input devices are comfortable to use and will definitely get the work done on the go but we are disappointed to see just two USB-C connectors, one of which will most probably be used for charging. At least one of them supports the Thunderbolt 3 standard and gives plenty of I/O expansion with a little help of a dongle.

The Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 will be available for pre-order at the upcoming IT Show 2017. Two SKUs will be available. The entry-level Core i5 model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB SSD is priced at S$2,499. The higher spec Core i7 model with 16GB of RAM and 512GB SSD is S$2,999.

Intel HD Graphics 615:

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
