In most areas Dell XPS9360-5000SLV-PUS just rules. The core performance it offers because of the new i5 processor and solid-state drive is very decent – a person with any kinds of programs would find the Dell a smooth sail to work with. One of the highlights is also the screen with very thin bezels, excellent resolution and bright image. The “cons” section mostly consists of little annoyances such as webcam location and gaming performance on the poorer side. If you however can overlook these little blunders, I think the Dell is totally worth the money for a high-performance ultrabook seeker.

Its footprint is smaller than the competition, but it’s thicker. Its screen resolution is excellent, but display colour is normal rather than super-saturated. There’s also a mix of old and new connections, and a combo of a large battery and smart power management means the Dell XPS 13 lasts significantly longer than most a lot of the time. The balance is just right - we'd spend our own money on it.

Do we still recommend the refreshed XPS 13? Sure we do. In fact, we still think this is one of the best premium laptops out there as long as you can afford it. If not, you won’t make a mistake getting the previous Skylake generation – the difference isn’t that noticeable. Or you can simply opt for the Lenovo Yoga 910 which is also a great alternative if you are looking for a more versatile product and a little bit of extra endurance during the day.

Dells XPS-familj har funnits i mer än ett årtionde och även om det har funnits undantag ibland så har de tre bokstäverna oftast stått för ovanligt läckra PC-hantverk i ultrabook-viktklassen. 2015 års version utsåg vi till och med till Årets dator. Processorn är en Intel Core i7 men inget fartmonster. Det är en dualcore-processor på 2,9 GHz, speciellt avsedd för lätta bärbara datorer. We continue to be impressed by Dell's XPS 13. With an update to an Intel 8th Gen Core processor, one of the best ultrabooks on the market just got better. Pricing starts at $1,199 for a model equipped with a new generation CPU, though as configured, the model we tested primarily here (3200x1800 IGZO touch panel) runs $1,854.99. That is a premium price for sure, but it is also a performance oriented configuration with a healthy 16GB of RAM and a capacious 512GB NVMe SSD, along with a beautiful, high-res 3200x1800 touch display. Whether you need such a meaty setup or can get by with a tamer configuration, the XPS 13 is a highly recommended machine.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
