The Asus ExpertBook P3 isn’t the most exciting laptop we’ve ever encountered. If we were talking about a gaming setup, that might be a point against it. But in the workplace, you don’t really want exciting (unless your job is disarming landmines with a pogo stick). It’s solid, dependable, and works hard, all while not trying too hard to call attention to itself. It’s Bill from that unspecified department that always manages to fix problems in minutes. That’s not a bad thing. The only drawback that we can see is the competition from Apple’s MacBook Air range. On the face of it, a great laptop, until I realised that Asus had flushed 50% of its performance away by making a silly decision on memory modules. That point aside, this is a nice system with more ports than many laptops get these days, and an excellent Ryzen platform. There are a few areas where this machine could be improved, opening up the option for a P3 Plus model with a 2.5GbE LAN port and the USB4 ports that the processor natively supports. But for the relatively low asking price, for the majority of office users, this machine is excellent, if you don’t make the horrible mistake of buying one with a single memory module.

Intel UHD Graphics 64EUs:
Integrerat grafikkort i Intel Alder Lake SoCs som bygger på den nya Gen. 12-arkitekturen (Xe) med 64 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). Klockfrekvensen beror på processormodellen.
AMD Radeon 860M: En ganska kraftfull iGPU med RDNA 3.5-arkitektur som lanserades i början av 2025 och är en direkt efterföljare till Radeon 760M. Dess 8 CUs/WGPs (512 unified shaders) körs på upp till 3 GHz. DX12 Ultimate, ray tracing, AI-bildgenerering och andra moderna funktioner stöds här, liksom många populära videocodecs, inklusive först och främst AVC, HEVC, VP9 och AV1. Dess spelprestanda är tillräckligt bra för att spela 2024 spel i låga grafikinställningar.
AMD Radeon 820M: Kraftfullt RDNA3+-baserat integrerat grafikkort (iGPU) med 2 av de 16 beräkningsenheterna (= 128 unified shaders) och en klockfrekvens på upp till 2,8 GHz (beroende på modell).

Intel Raptor Lake-H:
i7-13620H: Alder Lake-baserad mobil CPU med 6 prestandakärnor och 4 effektiva kärnor. Prestandakärnorna erbjuder hyper threading, vilket leder till 16 trådar som kan bearbetas. CPU:n klockar från 1,8 till 4,9 GHz och har stöd för vPro.
AMD Strix / Gorgon Point:
Ryzen AI 7 350: En relativt kraftfull processor i Strix Point-familjen som debuterade i oktober 2024. APU:n med hybridarkitektur har 8 CPU-kärnor (en blandning av Zen 5- och Zen 5c-kärnor) som körs på upp till 5,0 GHz, tillsammans med Radeon 880M-grafikkortet och 50 TOPS XDNA 2-neuralmotorn. AMD Secure Processor (som i ett nötskal är en inbyggd ARM-co-processor) finns också ombord, liksom några andra avancerade funktioner, som AMD-Vi. Andra viktiga funktioner inkluderar PCIe 4, USB 4 och upp till LPDDR5x-8000 RAM-stöd, inklusive ECC RAM. Det långsiktiga TDP-effektmålet kan vara så högt som 55 W.
Ryzen AI 5 330: En mobil SoC för mellansegmentet i Krackan Point 2-familjen. APU:n integrerar 4 CPU-kärnor (1x Zen 5-kärnor med upp till 4,5 GHz och 3x Zen 5c-kärnor med upp till 3,4 GHz).
