EN→SVThe Acer Nitro V 16 (ANV16-41) has the potential to be a blockbuster in the budget category. It has a good cooling solution that allows high CPU and GPU clocks under load. At the same time, the fans aren’t too noisy. The upgradability is great – two SODIMM slots for DDR5 memory and two M.2 slots compatible with Gen 4 SSDs, It’s nice to see that Acer has included additional thermal pads for the RAM modules and for the two NVMe drives as well. The 1200p display (AUO B160UAN05.K (AUO80AD)) is a rare find in this price class. The 165Hz unit impresses with snappy response times for an IPS panel, high max brightness of 353 cd/m2, and full sRGB coverage. Not only that, but the color accuracy is superb when our “Design and Gaming” profile is applied.

EN→SVIn the end, let’s try to weigh our options here. The Nitro V 16 offers a good value of bang for-buck performance, paired with an accurate screen, and decent endurance. It’s going to be a good choice for those who’ll benefit from a beefier CPU and are content with playing games at 1080p. If maximum FPS is all you’re looking for, going for an RTX 4060 laptop like the new LOQ 2024 is a better choice. That guy has a more premium build, a beefier GPU both in terms of CUDA cores, and TGP (105W RTX 4060), and a multi-zone RGB keyboard. But you are sacrificing a few things like a stronger CPU, efficiency/endurance, and a downgraded display.

First of all, thanks to the high performance and efficient cooling system, thanks to which the laptop works stably under any load. I was also pleased with the full-size keyboard with a separate number pad, a good touchpad, loud stereo speakers, and a restrained, versatile appearance. Given the price category, the developers had to save some money. That's why the laptop has a budget screen and no means of owner recognition.

Just watch out for its poorer speakers and dimmer screen. With this in mind, going up the price ladder will get you slightly more potency in the MSI Crosshair 16 HX D14V‘s Intel Core i7-14700HX processor and a higher-res display, but you will have to shell out a fair bit more than the cost of the Nitro V16. EN→SVEven at the MSRP of $1,099 to $1,129, the Acer Nitro V 16 offers a fantastic value and it’s usually discounted to under $1,000. For that sum, you get a big, fast display that’s great for twitchy games and the RTX 4060 has enough horsepower to run almost any modern title at medium or high settings. You could spend a little more to get even better gaming performance or an OLED display, but the V 16 is a good value for the mid-range. Just don’t expect to take the show on the road—with a meager 56Wh battery, I found the battery life to be substandard. No gaming laptop is going to frag forever on battery, but this one doesn’t even last as long as most.

EN→SVAcer proves that a tight budget doesn’t necessarily lead to a limited gaming experience. The Acer Nitro V 16 (ANV16-71) delivers solid performance at an affordable price. The device feels fast and responsive for work, and thanks to the two-fan cooling, the performance is always there when you need it. You can play games with greatly bumped visuals, with a few exceptions here and there like Metro Exodus. In addition, the comfort during max loads seems adequate. The keyboard isn’t hot to the touch and the fans aren’t intrusively noisy. Yes, they are clearly audible and you can hear the airflow, but nothing too extreme. The default 1200p IPS panel (B160UAN05.B (AUOD8B1)) has its good and bad sides. Let’s start with the positives.

De här grafikkorten bör klara av alla nuvarande spel med acceptabel bildfrekvens, men inte nödvändigtvis med höga inställningar. Särskilt krävande spel kanske bara fungerar med låga inställningar. Till skillnad från prestandakorten hittar man däremot de här grafikkorten i bärbara datorer av lite mindre format med bättre batteritid.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU: Grafikkort för bärbara datorer i mellanklassen baserat på Ampere GA107-chipet. Har 2560 shaders och erbjuds i olika TGP-varianter (strömförbrukning) från 35 till 80 watt med olika klockfrekvenser och därmed prestanda. Uppdatering av RTX 3050 med 6GB, högre shaderantal men en minskad minnesbandbredd på 96Bit.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU:
Mid-range grafikkort för bärbara datorer baserat på Ada Lovelace-arkitekturen. Erbjuder 6 GB GDDR6 (96 bitar) och är konfigurerbar med en TGP på 35 - 115W (+ Dynamic Boost).
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU:
High-end grafikkort för bärbara datorer baserat på Ada Lovelace-arkitekturen. Erbjuder 8 GB GDDR6 (128 bitar) och är konfigurerbar med en TGP på 35 - 115W (+ Dynamic Boost).
De här grafikkorten levererar bäst 3D-prestanda för bärbara datorer. De kan hantera alla nya spel i hög upplösning och ofta med avancerade inställningar. AMD Hawk Point (Zen 4/4c):

R5 8645HS: En processor i övre mellanklassen (APU) i Hawk Point-familjen. CPU:n klockar med upp till 5,4 GHz. Jämfört med i9-13900HK stöds ingen enkel överklockning, men istället full vPro-hanteringsfunktion.
