The Chromebook market is still in its infancy, but the ecosystem has already proved itself to offer incredible value for money – just look at the £199 Toshiba Chromebook 2 for proof of that. We’ll need to wait to get our hands on a review model before we can say whether Acer’s offering trumps the Toshiba notebook, however.

Well, we say refinement, but first impressions don't leave us too enthralled. That's the thing about Chromebooks: they're cheap and plasticky, which is the compromise to pay for a £230 laptop (oddly the CB3-531 is $200 in the US, so far cheaper).

Intel HD Graphics (Bay Trail):
Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.
