The Yoga Slim 7x Gen 9 is a thin and portable machine. It feels amazingly responsive for daily tasks thanks to the high clocks of the Snapdragon processor and the fast SAMSUNG PM9C1a SSD. Because of the capable cooling with a dual-fan design, the comfort under load is on point. The keyboard doesn’t get hot during heavy loads and the fans are also quiet. Neat! The keyboard with its long key travel is for the typists out there and the large touchpad is accurate. That’s a laptop with a Qualcomm SoC and yes, the upgradability isn’t among its advantages. You can change the battery and the SSD, that’s all. The removal of the bottom plate seems easy which is handy when you want to clean the internals.

Did a lack of longevity put you off a Windows-powered ultraportable before? The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x could change your mind. It has the battery life to challenge a MacBook Air, a chipset powerful enough for most desktop duties, and a gorgeous OLED screen that’s equally suited to productivity and play. Connectivity is quick, but limited, and ARM emulation doesn’t yet play nicely with every app or program – though that’s Microsoft and Qualcomm’s jobs to fix. The two firms also talk big about NPUs and on-board AI, right now I don’t see them as reason alone to buy a Copilot PC.

Connectivity is quick, but limited, and ARM emulation doesn’t yet play nicely with every app or program – though that’s Microsoft and Qualcomm’s jobs to fix. The two firms also talk big about NPUs and on-board AI, right now I don’t see them as reason alone to buy a Copilot PC.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 is a great all-around laptop with few flaws, so it's easy to say you should buy it if you just want an excellent device. The only drawback to buying Snapdragon right now is that Intel does still have better graphics, although I'd argue that if you were focused on graphics-intensive loads like gaming or video editing, you're probably buying something beefier anyway. Also, Intel isn't really competing when it comes to NPUs, focusing on graphics performance for on-device AI instead. One other thing to note about the Slim 7x is that it's not too pricey. We just saw Microsoft's Surface devices get dramatic price increases due to RAM shortages, and with a specced out Slim 7x coming in at $1,599, I don't think you can beat it.

EN→SVThe Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x Gen 11 is a great all-around laptop with few flaws, so it's easy to say you should buy it if you just want an excellent device. The only drawback to buying Snapdragon right now is that Intel does still have better graphics, although I'd argue that if you were focused on graphics-intensive loads like gaming or video editing, you're probably buying something beefier anyway. Also, Intel isn't really competing when it comes to NPUs, focusing on graphics performance for on-device AI instead. One other thing to note about the Slim 7x is that it's not too pricey. We just saw Microsoft's Surface devices get dramatic price increases due to RAM shortages, and with a specced out Slim 7x coming in at $1,599, I don't think you can beat it.

The use of a Snapdragon X2 Elite SoC pushes the Yoga Slim 7x (Gen 11) into the realm of remarkable efficiency and performance. You might have a personal issue with Windows on ARM, but for my workflow, it's no problem at all. Combine this power and efficiency with a high-end build quality, premium features like Human Presence Detection, quad speakers, 9.2MP camera, and OLED display, and you have a lot of PC for the asking price. It's not perfect — the glossy display finish can be annoying and the FHD+ model's 60Hz refresh rate is a drag — but these are fairly easy to remedy with a $60 upgrade to a brighter 2.8K display at 120Hz. The Slim 7x (Gen 11) is a laptop I can see fitting in perfectly with students, home business pros, and casual users who simply want a laptop for around $1,199 (even less when it's on sale) that feels like it should cost a lot more.

It’s nicely built, has a quality display, and fine speakers, but so do many of its competitors. Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: En integrerad grafikadapter som flera Snapdragon X Elite- och X Plus-processorer har. Adreno har inget stöd för SUHD 4320p-bildskärmar och när det gäller prestanda är det inte mycket snabbare än den åldrande 96 EU Intel Iris Xe iGPU.
