EN→SVThe 14-inch Slim 7i stands as one of my all-time favorite Windows laptops, and the Ultra Aura Edition (Gen 11) carries over much of what I valued in its predecessors. With Panther Lake, this ultra-lightweight PC lasts all day (and beyond), but I'd happily trade some of its battery life for the higher-end Core Ultra X7/X9 processors that Lenovo currently offers outside the US. With the Core Ultra 7 355, it'll still have tremendous appeal towards frequent travelers.

If you do shell out the cash required to grab one, you won't regret it, but if you're looking for something that's the ultimate value, this machine isn't it. It's beautiful, light, performant, and a superb example of what Panther Lake is capable of.

EN→SVIf you're set on getting a thin and light Windows laptop, you have better options. To name a couple, we really liked the Acer Swift Edge 14 -- and while it's not as light at the Slim 7 Ultra, it's close. But if you want my strongest recommendation, I'd have you consider the 2026 version of the ASUS Zenbook 14, which has the speedy ARM-based Snapdragon X2 Elite 18 core CPU in a package that weighs just tad more than this Lenovo and has much better battery life. But me? I'm sticking to Mac, but I will say that if this laptop had better performance, more ports, was less money and had a less reflective screen, the weight factor could compel me to buy one of these for personal use, but I wouldn't switch from my MacBook Pro. Overall, I find Windows much less satisfying to use than MacOS and so only if the notebook's hardware was extremely compelling would I switch — this comes close, but not close enough.

EN→SVThe question of "should you buy this laptop" is hardly a straightforward yes or no. For me, performance matters. I'm not going to drag-race this mid-range laptop basically ever, and the heaviest workload it's going to see is Photoshop, but on the odd chance I do open up Premiere Pro, choose to compile some code locally, or play the odd game, I don't want to be reminded that I bought a laptop that had a poorly refreshed architecture.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
Intel Intel Graphics 4 Xe3 PTL: Intel Graphics 4 Xe3 är ett integrerat grafikkort i Panther Lake SoC:er med 4 Xe3-kärnor (32 EUs / 512 ALU:er), 4 raytracing-kärnor och en klockfrekvens på upp till 2450 MHz.
AMD Radeon 840M: En ganska kraftfull iGPU med RDNA 3.5-arkitektur som lanserades i början av 2025 och är en direkt efterföljare till Radeon 760M. Dess 8 CUs/WGPs (512 unified shaders) körs på upp till 3 GHz. DX12 Ultimate, ray tracing, AI-bildgenerering och andra moderna funktioner stöds här, liksom många populära videocodecs, inklusive först och främst AVC, HEVC, VP9 och AV1. Dess spelprestanda är tillräckligt bra för att spela 2024 spel i låga grafikinställningar.

Ultra 7 355: Mobil 8-kärnig SoC för mellansegmentet från Panther Lake-familjen med 4 Xe3 GPU-kärnor. Precis som med Lunar Lake erbjuder den inbyggda NPU 5 50 TOPS och har nu stöd för FP8.
AMD Strix / Gorgon Point:
Ryzen AI 5 430: En mobil SoC för mellansegmentet från processorfamiljen Gorgon Point. APU:n integrerar 4 CPU-kärnor (1x Zen 5-kärnor med upp till 4,5 GHz och 3x Zen 5c-kärnor med upp till 3,4 GHz). Tekniskt sett liknar den äldre Ryzen AI 5 330.
