It offers an incredible 12.4-inch AMOLED display, flagship performance, and tons of premium features, but it will cost you nearly twice as much as the Legion Tab. If you are simply looking for a compact tablet, there are almost no real competitors on the Android side right now outside of the Pixel Tablet ($499 at Amazon), which hasn’t aged that well, and is larger anyway. The only real alternative is the iPad Mini ($459 at Amazon), but that decision comes down to which ecosystem you prefer more than anything else. I still do not think small tablets will appeal to the masses. There is a reason why companies often abandon smaller flagship phones after a few generations. The same might happen with compact tablets. But whether the world embraces them or not, the Lenovo Legion Tab made me remember how fun and practical a well-designed tablet can be.

If you’re looking for a desktop replacement or something to work from, I don’t know that this is your device. But if you want a content consumption monster, I don’t know many that get it done better than this Legion Tab Gen 3. When used for the right stuff, it just gets a lot right at a really solid (often discounted) price.

Sure, you could just as easily get a top-tier phone with the most powerful mobile chipset available. However, the benefit of a tablet like this is that it comes with comparable performance and it has a bigger screen. And trust me, the bigger screen is going to be very nice for mobile games and watching videos. If you already have a tablet you use for games, then maybe this isn’t a worthy buy, unless you want and/or need a really good upgrade.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.

Qualcomm Adreno 730:

Grafikkrets för smartphones och surfplattor som är integrerad i Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm hävdar att det är 30 % snabbare än Adreno 660 i Snapdragon 888 SoC. För Android bör det vara ett av de snabbaste grafikkorten i slutet av 2021.

Qualcomm Adreno 750: Grafikchip för smartphones och surfplattor som är integrerat i Qualcomms Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Qualcomm hävdar att det är 25 % snabbare än Adreno 7340 i Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 och de första benchmarks visar att GPU:n kan slå iGPU:n Apple A17 Pro.
