The InBook X1 Slim is relatively affordable and the usage experience is not compromised in terms of build quality, missing features, or weak performance. It doesn't go above or beyond the basics and it might not be as versatile as you'd like a few years down the line, but cost is a huge factor for buyers of laptops in this segment. The entry-level variant, priced at Rs. 29,990 (before offers) is just about right in terms of meeting the needs of the average user. The RAM is not upgradeable but 8GB should be enough. The middle variant, as reviewed here, is also pretty good value at Rs. 39,990. The top-end variant, priced at Rs. 49,999, will have a more niche audience. If you need some serious number-crunching power and don't much care about entertainment or looks, it strikes an interesting balance.

For Rs. 30000, you are getting a Windows 11 laptop that has a very nice FHD display, runs fast with its Intel Core i3 processor, has a very fast SSD storage, offers all the necessary I/O ports, and a decent set of keyboard and trackpad. Not to forget, it looks stunning too. The battery life is weak and Infinix could have stuffed a bigger battery inside, but it makes up for it with a 65W fast charger. I would also recommend you spend a bit more and get the 512GB storage variant, if you seek longevity. Honestly, why would you buy anything else at this price? Laptops from Asus, Dell, Lenovo and HP at this price offer under 4GB RAM, HDD storage, rubbish 720p, poor battery life and dull designs with soft plastic clamshells. The Infinix INBook X1 Slim is currently the best laptop for students and casual users not seeking to exceed the Rs. 35,000 mark.

This obviously isn't the right laptop for gamers or anyone who needs serious processing power for content creation or any other kind of work. However if you're a student, professional or even home user who just wants to cover the basics of productivity, entertainment and communication, you now have another worthwhile choice in the laptop market. Given that Infinix's pricing strategy is not very clear and availability seems to be limited, we will have to go by the current market price, which is Rs. 49,999 for the Core i5 variant.

This is one of the nicest built lightweight and slim laptops you can lay your hands on, and the design still makes it unmistakably a MacBook Air. The display is good although the OLED displays on rival Windows laptops have an edge. The M2 chip is fast and capable, and coupled with macOS Monterey, this is a highly efficient computer to work on – both in terms of performance and battery life. And yes, this is a battery life champ! Even the webcam is impressive on this one. Hence, the question arises – should you buy the new 2022 Apple MacBook Air M2? If you are looking for a no-nonsense and efficient laptop with a budget of just around Rs. 1 lakh, the M2 MacBook Air is a fantastic choice. Many may recommend the M1 MacBook Air at the lower price but in reality, the improvements warrant that extra price you are paying – they are worth spending more. This M2 MacBook Air is the benchmark against which all other slim and lightweight “ultrabooks” will be judged;

The combination of an ultra-portable laptop and an Intel 12th-generation chip pulled off by Infinix sets the benchmark for the segment. Its 1080p anti-glare display, 75% keyboard, stacked I/O port selection and solid build quality further make it easily stand out from the competition. The addition of dual front-facing lights is another useful feature in a laptop packed with them. However, the 720p webcam and a set of average speakers do dull the experience of consuming media on an otherwise value-for-money machine. I recommend the Infinix X3 Slim as a great laptop in the Rs 40,000 price range. However, avoid the Intel Core i3-powered variant with 8GB RAM as it won’t last you long enough in 2023 and because the RAM isn’t user upgradable either.

Det här är mindre avancerade grafikkort för användare som ändå vill kunna spela spel. Nya spel bör vara spelbara, men ofta bara med låga detaljinställningar och låg upplösning. Eftersom moderna grafikkort i den här klassen har låg strömförbrukning kan även batteritiden vara bra.
