Building a competitive cloudbook is a tough ask in the face of such strong competition, and while Asus has done alot right, the numerous flaws make the X205TA hard to recommend. If you're looking for an ultraportable, affordable laptop, then sadly the EeeBook X205TA just isn't good enough to compete with the HP Stream 11 - that's the one we'd buy.

I would have to say yes, for the simple reason that this is a more familiar OS and you can use your regular Windows applications online as well as offline to get work done. The two issues that we had with the Acer Chromebook C720 included terrible display and bad keyboard – both areas where Asus EeeBook X205TA offers a better solution.

If you want to gift your little kid a notebook that is perfect for regular tasks, the Asus E402M can be considered, otherwise, the notebook doesn’t offer anything extraordinary. No doubt, it is portable and comes with an impressive price of around Rs 15,000, but we better spend a little more and get a full fledged notebook for all kind of work.

It’s easy to criticise the EeeBook E402MA when comparing it to $1000+ laptops, but when measured against others in the same price range it’s actually not such a bad deal. Our biggest concern is the screen quality, which really should have been at least 1080p at this size. Yet for a mere $500, this machine does the job, provided you’re in no hurry to get that job done.

Asus:
Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.

En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
Intel HD Graphics (Braswell): Integrerad GPU i Intel Braswell-serien (Celeron- och Pentium-processorer). Baserad på Broadwellarkitekturen (Intel Gen8) med stöd för DirectX 11.2. Beroende på processorn har grafikdelen 12 eller 16 shaders och varierande klockfrekvens.
Intel HD Graphics 400 (Braswell):
Integrerat grafikkort i Intels Braswell-processorserie (2016 Celeron). Baserad på Broadwell-arkitekturen (Intel Gen 8) med stöd för DirectX 11.2. Beroende på processorn erbjuder den 12 shader-kärnor (EU) och olika klockfrekvenser.
