Det finns inga synliga ändringar mellan Yoga 730-15IKB och dess föregångare, Yoga 720-15IKB. Det enda som har förändrats är dess CPU: Yoga 730 kommer med en ULV-processor på 15 watt istället för en på 45 watt.

Vår recenserade enhet använder en Core i7-8550U. Det är en fyrkärnig CPU som har mer än tillräckligt med prestanda för alla moderna användningsområden. Positivt: CPU:n kan använda Turbo Boost-funktionaliteten även under längre tidsperioder. Tack vare en dedikerad GPU kan Yoga 730 köra dom flesta moderna spel.

Lenovos 15.6-tummare utgör en kombination av spellaptop på instegsnivå och 2-i-1 funktionalitet.

Lenovo använder en ULV CPU som en ursäkt för att minska batterikapaciteten. Batteriet i Yoga 730 är 30% mindre än i Yoga 720. I kombination med en 4K-skärm kan Yoga 730 som bäst uppnå medelmåttig batteritid. Men konkurrenter som Acer Spin 5 SP515-51GN och Asus ZenBook Flip 15 UX561UD presterar inte bättre på den punkten.

En NVMe SSD resulterar i ett väldigt responsivt system. SSD-enheten kan bytas ut. Men du behöver öppna höljet för att kunna göra det. Tangentbordet lämnade ett gott intryck. Det passar bra även för den som skriver mycket. Dessutom: tangentbordet är bakgrundsbelyst. IPS-skärmen med 4K-upplösning gör en nöjd med utmärkta betraktningsvinklar, bra färgåtergivning, bra kontrastförhållande och acceptabel ljusstyrka. Den kan användas både med fingrarna eller med den inkluderade stylusen.

Yoga 730 gör det lättare för den som vill använda externa skärmar: Till skillnad från Yoga 720 har Yoga 730 en Thunderbolt 3-port och dessutom en HDMI-utgång.
