Den kompakta och fjäderlätta Lenovo IdeaPad 710S-13ISK gjorde ett mycket positivt intryck under testet och verkar inte ha några allvarliga nackdelar. En stor del av intrycket påverkas av det praktiska aluminium-magnesium-chassit, eftersom vi tycker att det ser riktigt bra ut, med övertygande byggkvalitet. En annan höjdpunkt är den utmärkta skärmen.
Tangentbordet är bra, men inte pekplattans något klibbiga yta. Om du behöver ansluta mycket kringutrustning samtidigt lämnar den här enheten övrigt att önska på grund av det begränsade antalet portar. Någon underhållslucka finns inte heller, men bottenpanelen verkar vara lätt att avlägsna.
Vi kunde avslöja några tekniska brister, som den extrema strypningen under stresstestet och det något irriterande fläktljudet i samma situation. Det är å andra sidan inte så viktigt i det här fallet, eftersom maximal belastning kommer att vara ett mycket sällsynt scenario för den här maskinen.
Intressanta enheter att jämföra med är Dell XPS 13 9350 och Asus Zenbook UX305FA-FC040T, som båda får bättre totalpoäng.
