LapBook Air ser ut och känns fantastisk med tanke på dess låga utgångspris på ~3 400 SEK (400$). IPS-skärmen på 1080p är skarp, en sekundär intern enhetsplats är sällsynt och tangentbordet är till och med bakgrundsbelyst. Tyvärr behövde tillverkaren göra nedskärningar på nästan allt annat för att nå det otroligt låga rekommenderade priset.

Till att börja med så är kvalitetskontrollen inte på samma nivå som på många välkända alternativ. Vår testenhet led av måttlig bleeding på skärmens bakgrundsbelysning, ojämn bakgrundsbelysning för tangentbordet, en trasig Ctrl-tangent, en bristfällig USB-port, flera krascher och en böjd kant. Vi rekommenderar nya ägare att testa varje port och knapp för att försäkra sig om att inget är skadat. För det andra så är den passivt kylda Celeron-processorn, den primära SSD-disken och laddaren är alla väldigt långsamma. Användare som vill ha något lite kraftigare skulle klara sig bättre med en äldre ULV Haswell-laptop som troligen kommer ha fastare tangentbordsknappar och mer exakta styrplatta. Om den i huvudsak används för strömning och videouppspelning på resande fot så är LapBook Air ändå inte dålig.

LapBook kan visa sig användbar för dom som bara planerar att surfa, ordbehandla och strömma film.
