Acer TravelMate P648-M är en välgjord 14-tums företagslaptop. Den inkluderade processorn har tillräcklig prestanda för alla vanliga användningsscenarier. Datorn är alltid tyst och blir knappast varm. Den snabba SSD:n resulterar i ett snabbt system. Vill man byta ut den plockar man bort bottenpanelen, vilket är enkelt. 

Tack vare ett inbyggt LTE-modem kan du skaffa dataanslutning från valfri teleoperatör. Du kan också utöka antalet gränssnitt till datorn genom att ansluta en dockningsstation till porten på datorns undersida. Inmatningsenheterna är bra och batteritiden utmärkt. IPS-skärmen har bra betraktningsvinklar och hög kontrast, men ljusstyrkan är lite för låg.

Först och främst är det här en uppdatering av föregångaren. Acer har försett datorn med Skylake-processor, DDR4-RAM och en Thunderbolt-3-port. Det är relativt enkla förändringar som gjort en bra dator bättre.

Den som letar efter ett alternativ till etablerade märken som Lenovo, HP och Dell bör titta närmare på TravelMate. Acer har visat att de faktiskt kan producera bärbara företagsdatorer.
