The high heat, fan noise, underwhelming keyboard, mouse click experience, and poor speakers are far too many drawbacks for this kind of money. You're better off with the Toshiba Portege R835-P50X.

Some of the most predominant software includes trials to Norton Internet Security and Microsoft Office 2010. Sony also installs software like PowerDVD and Skype. These programs bog down performance pretty noticeably, especially since many of them run at startup, so you'll want to spend some time uninstalling the unnecessary ones.

It's a PC that starts close to $2,000 and goes up from there. With slim 13-inch SSD laptops now well under $1,000, Sony's expensive, high-end Z series laptop is a tough sell, although the long-life slice battery and unique GPU/optical dock help make its case.

Sony:
Bara vissa äldre spel kan spelas flytande med de här grafikkorten. Kretsar med delat minne har fördelen att de utvecklar mindre värme och ger längre batteritid. De duger gott för kontorsbruk, surfande och enklare bildbehandling, men spel och HD-video är inte i syftet med de här kretsarna.
Intel HD Graphics 3000: Den integrerade grafikkretsen i Intels Sandy Bridge-processorer (Core ix-2xxx). Snabbare än föregångaren och överklockningsbar med Turbo Boost.
En del nyare spel kan spelas med de här grafikkorten, men bara om de är mindre krävande. De har ändå tillräcklig kapacitet för kontorsbruk och film (möjligen högupplöst). Är grafikkretsen dessutom integrerad kan batteritiden vara utmärkt.
